Program Highlights:

RVH is a regional health centre with 390 beds, providing care to Simcoe County as a Level III Trauma Centre combined with highly specialized services as Cardiac, Stroke, Neonatal Intensive Care, Child & Youth Mental Health and more.  RVH is currently the Regional Cancer Centre, Regional Mental Health Program and Regional Dialysis Program for Simcoe Muskoka Algonquin.  To address the growing needs of our population, RVH is expanding to double the size of our North Campus over the next 10 years, and build a South Campus in Innisfil, Ontario.

The RVH Pharmacy Residency Program is dedicated to fostering the professional growth of aspiring clinical pharmacists through a comprehensive educational experience. This 52-week program is designed to provide pharmacy practitioners with opportunities to practice evidence-based medicine, develop clinical decision-making skills in multidisciplinary care settings, and learn how to manage projects effectively.  As the health centre and pharmacy department continue to grow, we aim to enhance the academic excellence and professional development of our residents by providing an immersive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
