CSHP-NB invites you to a CSHP Evidence Based Medicine Workshop, Saturday September 29th, 2012 in the Boardroom at the Dr Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB.  The program permits attendees the opportunity to self-assign up to 5 CEU’s.

Objectives of this program:

Define Evidence Based Medicine (EBM) and understand why it is important to practice Develop a clinical question in the PICO format and use it as the basis for a search strategy Define and interpret measurements of effect (relative risk, odds ratio, number needed to treat etc.) Critically appraise a randomized controlled trial or meta-analysis and present the article in a journal club format
