Annual General Meeting & Educational Sessions Conference

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Educational Sessions Conference represents a cornerstone event for the CSHP-SK Branch, bringing together hospital pharmacy professionals from across the province to engage in governance, networking, and continuing professional development.

Typical Timing
  • The Conference is traditionally held in the fall of each year, between mid-September and early November.
Event Structure and Timeline
  • Duration: The event usually spans over one and a half-days, often Friday (early evening) and Saturday (full day) to accommodate working professionals.
  • Event Schedule:
    • Friday: Awards Ceremony and plated Dinner, followed by Social Night
    • Saturday: Educational Sessions featuring expert speakers from within Saskatchewan and across Canada.  Topicals often include updates in clinical pharmacy practice, patient safety, medication stewardship, and health policy developments.  It also includes the Annual General Meeting (AGM), Sponsorship Booths, and Poster Presentations.
  • Audience: The AGM and Educational Sessions Conference are open to both CSHP and non-CSHP members, hospital residents, students, and invited guests, fostering a diverse and collaborative learning environment.
