Volunteer Opportunities

Please note that any CSHP volunteers must be CSHP members in good standing. 
If you are interested in volunteering with the CSHP-SK Branch, please submit a Volunteer Application Form to the CSHP-SK Branch President at president.sk@cshp.ca.

Awards Committee

It is the responsibility of the Awards Committee to oversee the Annual CSHP-SK Awards Program and the presentation of awards in the fall of each year. 

The Awards Committee shall:

  • Promote the interest and submissions for the awards offered by the SK Branch to its members.
  • Participate in the judging of the award submissions.
  • Identify new awards and sponsors to reflect the accomplishments of SK members.​​

Education Services Committee (ESC)

It is the responsibility of the Education Services Committee to oversee the AGM and Educational Sessions Conference in October, as well as plan education throughout the year for members.

The Education Services Committee (ESC) shall:

  • Brainstorm and plan education topics and speakers throughout the year and for the Annual General Meeting and Educational Sessions Conference.
  • Encourage member engagement with education sessions.
  • Participate in event planning for the Annual General Meeting and Educational Sessions Conference.

Finance Committee

It is the responsibility of the Finance Committee to support the financial health and sustainability of the CSHP-SK Branch through careful planning, oversight, and collaboration.  The committee meets on a bi-annual basis.

The Finance Committee shall:

  • Assist in the development and monitoring of the annual budget.
  • Provide input on financial decisions and spending priorities.
  • Review annual investments and provide recommendations to Council as needed.
  • Support transparency and accountability in financial reporting.
  • Explore opportunities for sponsorships or funding to support Branch initiatives.

Pharmacy Appreciation Month (PAM) Committee

It is the responsibility of the Pharmacy Appreciation Month Committee to oversee and help plan the annual campaign in March for member engagement and awareness.

The Pharmacy Appreciation Month (PAM) Committee shall:

  • Brainstorm and plan provincial PAM engagement events for SK Branch members.
  • Encourage the participation and inclusion of all pharmacy members, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy assistances. 
  • Participate in initiatives and encourage others to engage.
  • Celebrate and recognize colleagues for their everyday contributions to the pharmacy profession.
