The CSHP Foundation is pleased to award the Integrating Environmental Sustainability into Pharmacy Practice Grant in support of the project “Environmental Stewardship: Reducing Pharmaceutical Waste from Medication Returns to Pharmacy at The Ottawa Hospital.” This initiative aims to reduce carbon emissions and pharmaceutical waste, improving operational efficiency and supporting The Ottawa Hospital’s commitment to sustainability and patient care. Dr. Randilynne Urslak, a clinical pharmacist at The Ottawa Hospital and Adjunct Professor at the University of Ottawa, will lead the project as part of her institutional role. A graduate of Queen’s University and the University of Waterloo School of Pharmacy, Dr. Urslak brings a strong background in clinical practice, research, and environmental advocacy. She currently leads a research initiative on medication returns and is a member of the Pharmacy Environmental Committee. Her passion for pharmacy practice, education, and planetary health is driving meaningful change within the healthcare system. Grant funded by a donation from:
