Relationships

Staying connected and maintaining relationships with other organizations and pharmacy colleagues remains a priority for CSHP. By supporting each other, we can amplify our collective voice and help shape the future of pharmacy. Learn more about our partnerships below!

Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals

Pharmacy Association of Saskatchewan (PAS)
  • CSHP-SK Branch council has a dedicated PAS Liaison who maintains a voting seat on the PAS Board of Directors.
  • Representatives from both organizations meet quarterly to discuss issues common to pharmacy professionals regardless of practice site, in support of advocacy efforts.
  • Collaboration occurs between the organizations for Pharmacy Appreciation Month campaigns to the public, as well as co-sponsorship of the Pharmacist and Technician Student membership promotion event.
  • PAS supports pharmacists interested in joining both organizations by providing a reduced membership fee (Joint CSHP-PAS membership).
Saskatchewan Polytechnic Pharmacy Technician Program

The External Portfolio President, the Pharmacy Technician Representative, and the Student Representatives are responsible for sharing CSHP with SaskPolytechnic. Twice annually, the CSHP-SK team aims to do a presentation to first and second year pharmacy technician students about the benefits of membership, followed by a Q&A session. CSHP-SK Student Representatives also have an active relationship with pharmacy technician class representatives and hope to plan an annual Meet-and-Greet event. The first of these took place September 2024 and was a huge success for interdisciplinary friendship.
