William McLean Innovation Grant Recipient

	Nikki Blosser BSc.Pharm. Arthur Child Cancer Centre, Alberta Health Services The CSHP Foundation is pleased to announce that Nikki Blosser has been awarded the William McLean Innovation Grant to support the development of the project, Pharmacist-Led Cardiovascular Risk Reduction Clinic for Post-Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplant Patients. Nikki Blosser is a pharmacy Clinical Practice Leader at Arthur Child Cancer Centre. After graduating from MUN School of Pharmacy, she completed a CSHP Accredited Canadian Pharmacy Residency with a focus on oncology. She has practiced in hematology/BMT for the past 15 years, with a more recent focus on Long-Term Follow-Up post allogeneic stem cell transplant. She is currently Vice President for the Canadian Association of Oncology in Pharmacy and also serves on the AHS Pharmacy Quality Research Advisory Committee where she supports pharmacy-led research in the area of oncology. We look forward to seeing the positive impact that this work will have on patients in Alberta and across Canada! This grant has been made possible by a bequest to the CSHP Foundation from the Estate of Dr. William (Bill) McLean. Bill was a long-time CSHP Member and Fellow. He devoted a significant amount of time to the endeavors of the CSHP and was immensely proud of its role and accomplishments.
