Volunteer Opportunities

Please note that any CSHP volunteers must be CSHP members in good standing.

Chapter Chairs    

Chapters are overseen by the Presidential officer who oversees the Internal Portfolio. The role of Chapter Chairs is to facilitate educational events as per the needs of members within that Chapter, as well as to disseminate CSHP news and information, as required. The two year term would start in November 2023 and the following Chapter need local leadership:
  • North Chapter Co-chair (immediate)
  • West Chapter Co-Chair (November 2024)

Primary Care Co-Chair

The role of the Primary Care Chair is to help keep CSHP-OB Council aware of current issues, challenges and successes incurred by pharmacists practicing in primary care settings.  The Primary Care Chair will represent the voice of CSHP-OB members who practice in primary care settings.

Term: 2 years

Award Committee members  

It is the responsibility of the Awards Committee to oversee the Annual CSHP OB Awards Program and the presentation of awards in November of each year. 

The Awards Committee shall:

  • Promote the interest and submissions for the awards offered by the OB Branch to its members.
  • Participate in the judging of the award submissions.
  • Participate in judging of BC Branch Literary Awards.
  • Identify new awards and sponsors to reflect the accomplishments of OB members.

Education Committee members  

It is the responsibility of the Education Committee to oversee the Annual Conference in November.

Communication Committee members  

It is the responsibility of the Communications Chairs to oversee all ON Branch-related social media platforms (including: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) and HPO editions. The Communications Committee ensures that appropriate information is disseminated in a timely, convenient, concise, appropriate, uniform and coordinated fashion so that it’s of maximal use to our members. In addition, the Communication Committee will liaise with other provincial communication committees to facilitate inter-provincial dissemination of information.
