Pharmacy Residency Application and Matching Service (PRAMS)
The Pharmacy Residency Application and Matching Service (PRAMS) is a national application and matching service that provides a coordinated process to help applicants obtain positions in programs of their choice and to help programs obtain applicants of their choice. CSHP provides this service to streamline applicant information gathering and optimize matching between residency candidates and Canadian Pharmacy Residency programs.
CPRB-accredited and accreditation-pending residency programs within Canada are required to participate in the CPRB PRAMS. However, the clinical Master’s degree programs in Québec and Advanced (Year 2) Pharmacy Residencies are exempt from this requirement. Accreditation "pending" status means that the program has applied for accreditation and CPRB has been working closely with the program to ensure that the program progresses toward meeting accreditation standards; however, the program has not yet been accredited.
All participating programs and applicants must abide by the PRAMS Rules of Participation.
The information below is for the 2022-2023 residency year, application cycle will open for applicants on August 8, 2022.
Please note - CPRB cannot provide former residents with a record of their time in residency. If you would like a record of your time in residency, or a copy of your residency certificate, please contact the program with which you practiced.
