Program Highlights:

The goal of the of the pharmacy residency program at the IWK is to prepare pharmacists to practice with a philosophy of patient and family centered care. This program will enhance the ability for pharmacists to be prepared to care for children, youth and families at completion of the program – with skills as a pharmacist that are transferrable to any health care setting.

Using the knowledge, skills, and attitudes developed in the course of the residency year, the resident will become a competent and progressive pharmacy practitioner. The resident will become a leader in pharmacy practice including, but not limited to, patient care, project management, administration, teaching and academia, and research and scholarship.
